We've had some requests for pictures of our accommodations, so please bear with us for this rather detailed virtual tour.
MCC has a 3 bedroom apartment in Amman that has been used by various service workers at different times. Luckily, the apartment is currently vacant so we're able to stay here during our stint in Jordan. The previous occupant loved bright colors, as you'll see demonstrated on the walls.
Here's our living room (so much orange!). You can see our front door in the right bottom corner.
From the balcony side of the living room.
View from the balcony during the day.
Here's our kitchen.
The kitchen also has the laundry machine.
More kitchen. Very well stocked with everything we could need.
Hallway between living room and bedrooms. Bathroom is straight ahead. The front bedroom (which we're using) is on the right.
That window has the same view as the balcony - facing the street.
From our room back out into the hallway.
Bathroom on right, two other bedrooms on the left.
This is our laundry drying/ironing room. Yes - that is a sewing machine on the ground! If we're here long enough I'll open it up and see what I can make.
Last guest room (horrible picture - no natural light here) which has just simply become our overflow baggage room.
So there you go! Now you can visualize where we are. I'll have to take some pictures of the MCC office, which is where we spend the rest of our time. We don't have internet at home, so we come to the office even on weekends to Skype and email.
