Sidon Day Trip

Yesterday Ryan and I took a quick bus ride up to Sidon on our day off. We ride through Sidon every time we go back and forth from Beirut, but hadn't seen the city. We went first to the soap museum. Lebanon and Syria have famed soap industries, and many contend that soap has its origins in the Middle East. Those are stacks of soap.

Then we visited Sidon's Sea Castle, which was incredibly picturesque.

We topped it all off with a fresh seafood lunch and a visit to the mall!
