Between Christmas and New Year's we spent a night at our supervisor's (from Imam Sadr Foundation) in a village in the very south of Lebanon. When we arrived we sat out on his patio and watched the sun set over the valley. It went from temperate to very cold really quickly. Below his house on a couple of different levels, he and his family grow a huge amount of fruits and vegetables. He told us they have over 20 different varieties of fruit trees. It's a very idyllic setting.
We spent most of the holidays in Beirut, and came back to Tyre just after New Year's. We're back in the swing of things at the Foundation, and are projecting to finish the website project by the end of January.
Great view!
