Hot, Fresh & Just For You

When I was walking around downtown with the other MCC girls we came across this simple bakery with three young guys working the oven. They must be very used to American tourists because they were very friendly and insisted that we take their pictures. We have a bakery similar to this right near our apartment, but it has had odd hours during Ramadan and we can never seem to catch it open. I was so happy to find hot, fresh bread again that I promptly bought 2 kilos (about 25-30 pieces). It keeps well in the freezer. In Jordan (and other parts of the Middle East), bread has a fixed price due to government subsidies so it is very cheap! And extremely delicious.
