Harissa

Last Monday we started the day by driving up into the hills again to a place called Harissa. It's a pilgrimage site with a large church that has amazing views of the coastline just north of Beirut.

Here you can see the city of Jounieh.

Left: Priscilla - a great girl we met at church who has been traveling around the Middle East on her own for several weeks. She joined us for Jeita Grotto, Harissa and Byblos. We had fun with her! Center: Sarah - our hostess. She went all out driving us around Lebanon and taking care of all sorts of details so we could just enjoy our time.
